In this psychological thriller from writer/director Matthew Chapman, a potential suicide reveals to the cop trying to talk him down that if he doesn't jump at noon, someone will die. Explaining how events reached this point using flashback, the story follows athiest hotel manager Gavin Nichols (Charlie Hunnam), who starts an affair with Shana Harris (Liv Tyler), the wife of his devout Christian neighbour, Joe (Patrick Wilson). Little realising the powerful emotions he is about to unleash, Gavin then embarks on an ideological battle of wills with Joe. But when he later discovers that his wife is being unfaithful, Joe's violent rage causes him to issue Gavin with an ultimatum he dare not refuse.
