British television drama based on the novel by Jessie Burton in which a young woman arrives at a grand house where she is to fulfil her duties as a wife to a wealthy man. At first greeted by her sullen and mysterious sister-in-law, it is some time before she at last meets her new husband who gives her a wedding gift of a doll's house, a scale replica of their lavish home. Strange things begin to occur in her surroundings however, and it soon becomes apparent that it may all be caused by the doll's house.
