Baltasar Kormákur co-writes, directs and stars in this Icelandic thriller which follows a desperate father as he attempts to free his eldest daughter from the clutches of her drug dealing boyfriend. Struggling to cope with the death of his own father, Finnur (Kormákur) decides to take an increased interest in the life of his daughter Anna (Hera Hilmar). Worried that Anna's increasingly erratic behaviour is due to the bad influence of her boyfriend, petty criminal Ottar (Gísli Örn Gardarsson), Finnur decides to take action as he goes to extreme lengths to try and bring Anna home.
