I don't watch family films a lot however I was impressed with this film, Normally I get the impression its all American sweet looking however i found this movie different as its not about losing a child (such as Home Alone) however it is about gaining someone special in your life. there are elements of love and there are parts which are predictable however i enjoyed the picture as its not just parents that can teach children things, parents learn from kids to. - up beat picture. 6/10

Disney fantasy comedy about a childless couple who get more than they bargained for when they wish for a baby. After being told by a doctor that they cannot conceive, Jim and Cindy Green (Joel Edgerton and Jennifer Garner) bury a box in their garden containing their wishes for the child they have been longing for. That night a mysterious boy, Timothy (CJ Adams), turns up in their home. The Greens have no idea where Timothy has come from, but clues such as the leaves growing out of his ankles suggest that he must be somehow otherwordly. In their gratitude, the Greens ask no questions, telling friends and neighbours only that they have made a miraculous adoption. Despite his strange characteristics, Timothy brings joy to the lives of everyone around him, and becomes firm friends with fellow oddball Joni (Odeya Rush).
