Four old retired Texas Rangers help clean up the small town of Boulder which is run by the crooked Mayor Nard Lundy and his stooges... Amos Polk the drunken judge along with the trigger-happy Sheriff Clyde Barnes and his corrupt deputies. The foursome realise their days of daring-dos are long gone and that they're too old to be drawing guns anymore so with hilarious results they outsmart the villains by using just their combined wits. A great movie that's fun for all the family.

Four retired Texas Rangers, Captain Oren Hayes (Pat O'Brian), Gentleman George Agnew (Chill Wills), Nash Crawford (Walter Brennan) and Jason Fitch (Edgar Buchanan), decide to step up when the town of Boulder becomes corrupted by crooked Mayor Nard Lundy (Edward Andrews) and his bunch of cronies. Realising their shooting days are long past, they decide to use the one thing they've got left to beat the bad guys - their brains.
