When a group of young backpackers learn of a ghost said to appear in the rear-view mirror of a speeding car they set out to discover if the urban legend is true. Speeding down the infamous road, miles from anywhere, their jubilation turns to terror as one by one each passenger begins to disappear. The tourists soon find themselves at the mercy of a malevolent force much more heinous than the local myth.
David Campbell directs this Australian horror thriller starring Andrew Ryan and Tim Phillips. When a group of Americans touring Australia get befriended by a couple of outback experts, they are told the urban legend of Lemon Tree Passage. As the tale goes, if a car carrying a group of teenagers reaches a certain speed while travelling along the Passage, the passengers will witness the appearance of the ghost of a motorcyclist who previously died there. As the locals put on a show for their guests, nothing could have prepared them for the horrors that they uncover.
