The desperate people of Hamlin agree to pay a Pied Piper 200 gold bars to rid the town of rats forever. The Piper fulfills his promise by playing his magical music leading the rats to the river to drown. But when the townspeople fail to keep their promise and pay him only one gold bar he vows revenge and delivers. The moral of the story? Always keep your promise and always pay the piper.
