World War Two drama starring Gregory Peck as a Canadian pilot who is struggling to overcome the recent death of his wife in the Blitz. Squadron Leader Bill Forrester (Peck) finds himself marooned in the Burmese jungle with his badly injured navigator (Lyndon Brook) and severely traumatised passenger (Maurice Denham) after being shot down by a Japanese fighter.
