When promising young doctor Juliet Dermer (Hilary Swank – MILLION DOLLAR BABY) moves into a spacious Brooklyn loft, she is happy to make a new start after leaving behind a failed marriage. Her gorgeous new apartment seals the deal but it soon becomes apparent that things are not what they seem and to her horror, Juliet discovers she is being watched by a mysterious stranger. From Hammer Films, THE RESIDENT is a millennial throwback to the studio’s psychological thrillers of the 1960s and co-stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan (WATCHMEN), Lee Pace (THE FALL) and Hammer stalwart Christopher Lee (DRACULA) in a pivotal role.

Hilary Swank stars in this Hammer-produced psychological thriller. After separating from her husband, young doctor Juliet Dermer (Swank) moves into a spacious loft apartment in Brooklyn as the result of a rental deal that that seems too good to be true. However, a series of mysterious occurrences soon lead her to suspect that she is not alone in her home, and she eventually makes the terrifying discovery that she is being stalked by her seemingly charming landlord Max (Jeffrey Dean Morgan).
