Manuel Carballo directs this sci-fi thriller. In the aftermath of a zombie outbreak, a protein solution was created to control the disease and return those afflicted to their normal condition for 36 hours. But when supplies of the drug begin to run dangerously low chaos erupts amongst the desperate survivors. Meanwhile a doctor (Emily Hampshire) who treats those known as the 'Returned' defies government orders and goes on the run with her bitten boyfriend Alex (Kristen Holden-Ried) and her small remaining supply of the return protein.
