The BAFTA-winning series returns as Director Michael Winterbottom reunites Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon in a culinary coast-to-coast odyssey. Just as Don Quixote undertook three journeys, so Steve and Rob will set off on a third jaunt of their own, this time travelling over 1,000 miles down the entire length of Spain. Following in the footsteps of poet and novelist Laurie Lee, Steve and Rob's semi-fictional alter-egos hit the road in search of culture, history, breath-taking vistas and, of course, some of the finest food in Europe. All the while serving up sparkling... free-flowing conversation, peppered with barbed back-and-forths, in-car singalongs and their peerless trademark impersonations. [show more]

Michael Winterbottom directs this six-part comedy in which Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon take a trip to Spain. Following on from 'The Trip' (2010), in which Coogan and Brydon travelled around the north of England, and 'The Trip to Italy' (2014), in which they toured Italy and sampled some of its finest cuisine, this time Steve is asked to review some Spanish restaurants so the pair set off to sample the country's hospitality and converse on matters of interest once again as they travel from coast to coast. Having both recently turned 50, the pair contemplate their respective mid-life crises while touring the country in search of adventure, discussing Cervantes and doing impressions of some well-known celebrities along the way. The episodes are: 'Txoko', 'Etxebarri', 'La Posada del Laurel', 'Nöla', 'Parador de Almagro' and 'El Refectorium'.
