German Cold War thriller set in 1961. After fleeing the Communist regime in East Berlin, Harry Melchior (Heino Ferch) is now determined to go back for his sister (Alexandra Maria Lara) and her family. Gathering together a group of people also eager to help relatives escape to the west, Harry devises a daring plan to tunnel underneath the Berlin Wall.
