The story of the band Keith Richards called 'the best rock 'n' roll band in the world'. This 2-disc set charts the band's rise from their early beginnings playing in working men's clubs, to their appearance at the Woodstock concert, Live Aid and beyond. Along with blistering live performances and devising the 'rock opera', they were 'the godfathers of punk', and remain hugely influential. Includes interviews with remaining members Pete Towshend and Roger Daltrey. Disc 2 includes rarities and previously unseen footage of the band playing live at the Railway Hotel in 1964, the earliest recorded film of the band performing.
