After losing her mother, Laura reluctantly agrees to go out to a remote coffee plantation to care for a wealthy businessman's nephew and niece. As Geraldina, the housekeeper begins to act strange; Laura's suspicions are raised as she believes Geraldina is harbouring dark secrets about the past of the children's parents death.

Thriller directed by Walter Lima Jr. and starring Virginia Cavendish, Mel Maia and Dandara Mariana. It is 1930s Brazil and Laura (Cavendish) is hired as a tutor for two orphaned children living on a coffee farm after having spent a year confined to a convent. All is not as it seems on the plantation however as figures supposedly dead and gone appear before her and the effects of Laura's time in the convent on her state of mind begin to take shape. The cast also features Domingos Montagner, Xande Valois and Alexandre Varella.
