Off-beat romantic comedy starring Gary Oldman, Kate Beckinsale and Matthew McConaughey. When Steven (McConaughey) finds out that his fiancée Carol (Beckinsale) is pregnant, he decides he should tell her the truth about his family. Introducing her to his brother Rolfe (Oldman), Carol learns that Steven's family are all of restricted growth, and that Steven is the only family member who grew to a normal height. Initially scared that her own baby could be born a dwarf, Carol fears are soon assuaged when she meets the rest of Steven's unique family.
