Japanese sci-fi horror. Set in a dystopian future version of Tokyo where the police force has been privatised and self-harming has become so casual that advertising is often specially geared to the 'cutter' demographic, the film tells the story of Ruka (Eihi Shiina), a samurai sword-wielding young woman on a mission to avenge the assassination of her father.
