Adapted from the popular manga by Junji GYO follows the story of a girl named Kaori and Tadashi who are a couple who live in Tokyo but after their town is taken over by dangerous and disturbingly bizarre walking fish they get separated and Kaori does her best to try and find her boyfriend again

Anime following the terror that unfolds when a mutant virus spreads across Japan resulting in the rapid multiplication of deadly, land-adjusted fish. From killer sharks with four legs to machine-powered squid and metallic fish, the invasion of deadly creatures from the ocean causes chaos across the nation, with Tokyo, in particular, transformed into a warzone. Amidst the carnage, Kaori sets out on what seems like a hopeless mission to locate her boyfriend and to find a solution to the virus.
