US Special: The ultimate American road trip finds the guys driving $1000 wrecks over 700 stifling miles to New Orleans. In a Chevy, a Caddy and a Pick-up, their challenges include preparing a road kill 'feast' and baiting the rednecks of Alabama without getting shot. Vietnam Special: Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May travel to Vietnam and are told to travel the entire length of the country in just eight days, thereby achieving what the American military failed to do in ten years. Botswana Special - The Director's Cut: Jeremy, Richard and James end up in Botswana where, armed with just three cheap, two wheel drive cars (and a massive film crew), they set out to cross the heart of Africa. Four special Top Gear episodes presented by Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May. In 'Polar Special' the Top Gear team sets out on its most ambitious and arduous challenge to date - a race starting in Canada and finishing at the North Pole. In 'US Special', with a budget of $1000 dollars, each of the team has to buy a car for an epic road trip, stopping along the way to compete in a series of challenges which range from driving across Alabama without getting shot, to preparing and eating road kill whilst camping out for the night. In 'Botswana Special', the intrepid explorers, attempting to reach the Namibian border, have to traverse arduous salt pans, do battle with the Kalahari desert, and see if they can navigate the foaming torrents of the Okavango Delta. In 'Vietnam Special', equipped with, of all things, motorcycles, the adventurers have to cover the entire length of the country in just eight days.
