Martin Bohm (Sutherland) struggles to raise his ten-year-old special needs son, Jake (David Mazouz), who has never spoken a single word. But when his son starts to obsess on seemingly random sets of numbers, Martin contacts Professor Arthur Teller (Danny Glover), who specialises in gifted humans, and learns that Jake has the ability to predict the future by using the hidden numerical patterns that connect humanity.
