What should have been an ordinary drive home becomes a struggle for survival when Nicole (Maeve) and her boyfriend Scott (Taubenfeld) end up in a car accident. Dazed and confused, Nicole finds herself trapped upside down in the car and Scott dead beside her. In her desperation Nicole calls a random number on her phone and a man who seems willing to help answers. But Casey (Madsen) begins to unsettle Nicole by revealing that he knows a lot more than he should about her and Scott.
