Charles Bronson stars as the brooding horse breaker Chino Valdez in this thoughtful cowboy story that also features Jill Ireland and Michael Bozzuffi. An Indian-Mexican half-breed Valdez has only ever felt at home in the company of his beloved horses. Chino Valdez (Charles Bronson) is a ranch owner of mixed race who secretly plans to marry his neighbour's daughter Katherine (Jill Ireland). Her father threatens to destroy Valdez rather than let him continue seeing his daughter, and Katherine's brother Maral brings the wedding to a halt.

Please note this is a region 2 DVD and will require a region 2 (Europe) or region Free DVD Player in order to play. Charles Bronson (Death Wish) plays mixed-race Chino Valdez, a loner who runs a horse ranch outside of a small community in the American southwest. One day, Jimmy, a young runaway (Vincent Van Patten) rides to his isolated home where Chino offers him food and shelter for the night. Taking the boy in, he trains him in the art of breaking in horses and as a friendship develops, the loner starts to desire a normal life. However, not everything is 'rosy' for Chino as many of the people in the nearest town don't take kindly to mixed-race people like him, and his visits to the town often end up in a fight. Chino's neighbour is also trying to drive him away, after realizing that he and his sister Catherine (Jill Ireland) are involved romantically... As the town's resentment grows stronger, Chino soon realizes he's going to have to take a stand or be forced to leave.
