Vanguard is a privately-owned international protection agency that provides security services to Chinese clients around the world. During Lunar New Year celebrations, one of their clients, tycoon Qin Guoli (Jackson Lou) is attacked by members of an aggressive foreign terrorist group. It is up to Vanguard, led by its CEO Tang Huanting (Jackie Chan), to save the day. And when the organisation that took Qin come after Vanguard, they are met with extreme force.
