Jonas Armstrong and Ben Kingsley star in this historical drama directed by Mark Schmidt. Set during World War II, Hungarian leader Miklós Horthy (Kingsley) faces some tough decisions as the Russians close in from the east and the horrors of the Nazi regime begin to filter into the country from the west. After the Nazis find out Horthy has negotiated Hungary's surrender to the Russians, they kidnap his son and remove him from power. Meanwhile, with Nazi influence in the country increasing, young Jewish man Elek Cohen (Armstrong) impersonates a Nazi officer in an attempt to smuggle Jewish families out of danger and into safe houses. The cast also includes Hannah Tointon and Simon Kunz.
