Lewis Gilbert directs this 1950s British romantic drama about a love triangle between three carnival performers. Both racing driver Eddie 'Racer' Peskett (Maxwell Reed) and boxer Mag Maguire (Laurence Harvey) vie for the attentions of the beautiful Lillian (Susan Shaw) who is stuck on both men. When Maguire is accused of a crime committed by Racer, the situation grows more serious and Lillian must finally make a decision.
