Conrad Goode writes, produces and stars in this romance drama. After escaping her small town upbringing in Bent Arrow, West Texas, with dreams of becoming a Hollywood actress, Sunny (Laura Bell Bundy) returns home to say goodbye to her dying mother. When she learns that her mother's will names her as her ten-year-old sister Cotton (Bailee Madison)'s legal guardian, Sunny's entire life takes a backwards step in the direction of Bent Arrow. When Sunny strikes up an unusual friendship with NFL player Butch (Goode), who has been Cotton's only friend during her mother's illness, Sunny begins to wonder if this is where she belongs after all.
