Aidy Boothroyd could have been forgiven for borrowing a line off Rudyard Kipling as Watford's exhilarating season came to a dramatic climax.""If you can keep your head when all about you are losing theirs"" was so apt for Hornets as their 2007/08 season went right to the wire. Elton John's very own ""Rocket man"" Darius Henderson was firing them in whilst there was a ""don't go breaking my heart"" plea from Al Bangura whose efforts to secure a work permit were swiftly switched to securing promotion! Watford's brand of entertaining fast-flowing football drew comparisons... with the great eighties sides of Barnes Jenkins and Blissett. Every goal from every game is captured here plus exclusive interviews with the manager and the players who have help shape such a dramatic year. [show more]

Review of Watford's 2007/08 season, which saw the club attempting to make a return to the premiership after the previous season's relegation. The Hornets spent the first few months of the season in the automatic promotion places, but poor form towards the end of the campaign meant they had to settle for a playoff place. They were subsequently beaten in the playoffs by an on-form Hull City. The programme features highlights of Watford's matches in the Championship as well their games in the League Cup and FA Cup. There are also interviews with the players and manager, Aidy Boothroyd.
