Indian-born bachelor Harry (Rahul Rai) finds his plans to take part in an arranged marriage complicated when he falls for a free-spirited American student. Harry has never gotten over the fact that his parents married for love, and landed in divorce court. Determined not to wind up alone and unhappy, Harry reaches out to his uncle in India for help in finding a suitable bride. Just as Harry begins a courtship with his prospective Indian bride, however, a chance encounter with radiant student Theresa causes him to question his cynicism regarding marriage for love.
