Controversial French drama. Stephanie (Stéphanie Michelini) works as a Parisian prostitute, and is in love with both Mikhail (Edouard Nikitine), a Russian immigrant, and Jamel (Yasmine Belmadi), a street hustler. This mismatched trio have found solace from the mean streets in each others arms. When Stephanie discovers that her mother is terminally ill, the three of them return to the isolated rural village where Stephanie grew up. There she is haunted by the memories of her bleak childhood, when she was actually a boy. With the support of her lovers, she begins to come to terms with the events that have made her who she is today.
