The story of Billy Fury, otherwise known as 'The Prince of Wails' after his sobbing vocal style, who became an overnight sensation when he appeared on 'Oh Boy!'. He was banned in Ireland, mobbed by girls in England and beaten up by jealous Teddy Boys in Glasgow. Fury was Britain's first major teen idol: the man who Brian Epstein wanted to manage and who turned down the Beatles for his backing band.
