Triple bill of German films set during World War II. 'Before the Fall' (2004) follows events at a Nazi military training school, where Friedrich (Max Riemelt), a working-class boy with a talent for boxing, and the sensitive, poetry-loving Albrecht (Tom Schilling) are forced to lay aside their innocence and humanity as they prepare to join the Nazi elite. 'My Best Enemy' (2011) reunites Viktor Kaufmann (Moritz Bleibtreu), a member of a wealthy German Jewish family torn apart by the war, with the former servant, Rudi Smekal (Georg Friedrich), who was raised almost as a member of the family but betrayed them to the Nazis. 'The Crimson Ocean' (2008) is a made-for-TV drama that tells the story of the sinking of the passenger ship Gustloff, captained by Hellmut Kehding (Kai Wiesinger), in the final year of the war. The incident cost 9,000 lives, with the majority of those on board the ship women and children.
