Senegalese superstar Youssou N'Dour and Tunisian-born pianist Moncef Genoud take their music on a journey beginning in New Orleans and ending in Goree in Senegal. Travelling, in reverse, the route taken by the millions of slaves exported from West Africa to the Americas, N'Dour uncovers a musical legacy, which has had an enormous influence on the music of today.
