After a sailing boat drifts into Hudson Bay, a blood-covered man emerges from the craft and has to be shot repeatedly before tumbling into the sea. It transpires that the boat belongs to a missing scientist whose daughter, Ann, now sets off to find out what has become of him. Accompanied by journalist Peter West, ethnologist Brian and photographer Susan, Ann sets sail for the region of the Caribbean where her father was last reported alive, but before long is under attack from terrifying flesh-eating zombies. The film was released as 'Zombie 2' in Europe due to the fact that 'Dawn of the Dead' had already been put out under the title 'Zombie'.
