  • Inferno Of Torture [Blu-ray]Inferno Of Torture | Blu Ray | (06/07/2020) from £14.99   |  Saving you £N/A (N/A%)   |  RRP £N/A

Exploitation legend Teruo Ishii (Horrors of Malformed Men, Orgies of Edo) delivers one of his most extreme visions of violent eroticism in this, the sixth in his abnormal love series. Tattoos and torture await women forced into servitude in Ishii's Inferno of Torture. Unable to repay a local lender, Yumi (Yumika Katayama) takes up an offer to serve as a geisha for two years with a promise of freedom once her debt is repaid. She quickly realises that this is less a house of geishas than an extremely cruel brothel specialising in supplying western visitors with tattooed playthings. Taken under the wing of one of the leading tattoo artists vying for a coveted spot in the Shogun's good graces through his work, Yumi's body becomes a battleground as a rival artist becomes determined not to lose his spot at the top. When the madam, Otatsu (Mieko Fujimoto) trains her eye on the blossoming relationship between the benevolent artist Horihide (Teruo Yoshida) and his model, she makes sure than her stay is less than hospitable, inspiring the torturous inferno of the title. Following Ishii's legendary Shogun's Joy of Torture and Orgies of Edo, the prolific filmmaker still manages to turn up the heat in this incredibly violent and salacious entry in a filmography unlike any other. From the film's opening scene depicting some of the most perverse violence ever captured on screen, through to the shock ending that will leave the audience's mouths agape, there's nothing quite like Inferno of Torture. Tender romance clashes with vile sadism as a sea of tattooed female flesh floods nearly every frame of this film depicting Japan's Edo period as only Ishii could. Three Nicolas Cage films in one set; Left Behind, Vengeance and the Humanity Bureau. Left Behind: A small group of survivors are left behind after millions of people suddenly vanish and the world is plunged into chaos and destruction. Trapped at 30,000 feet, veteran airline pilot Ray Steele (Cage) must fight to protect the passengers that remain on his flight. Running out of fuel and with his equipment failing, Ray needs to safely guide the plane with the help of news reporter Cameron (Chad Michael Murray - One Tree Hill) who takes over the role of co-pilot in the face of the crisis. On the ground, Ray's terrified daughter Chloe (Cassi Thompson - Big Love) braves the bedlam of the city streets in search of her lost brother and mother Vengeance: Niagra Falls police detective and Iraq war veteran John Dromoor (Cage) is flagged down by a 12-year-old girl after she witnesses her mother, Teena, being brutally attacked and left for dead by a group of local men. When the men are caught, their parents hire slick criminal defence attorney Jay Kirkpatrick, (Don Johnson Django Unchained) who puts the focus on Teena s credibility, based on her sobriety and promiscuity. Shockingly her assailants are exonerated and released, even though the daughter s testimony should have alone been enough for a certain conviction. In the aftermath of the verdict Dromoor grows increasingly close to the victim and her family, who he then discovers are being taunted and stalked by the freed men. The injustice becomes too much for him to take and fuelled by a sense of vengeance and his own personal demons, Dromoor sets out on a lone campaign to serve the justice the men deserve. The Humanity Bureau: In the near future, natural disasters, famine and war have ripped America apart, creating the police state of New America. Noah Kross (Cage) is an enforcement officer with The Humanity Bureau, a government organisation tasked with searching society for those who qualify for a fresh life in New Eden, a utopian community dedicated to those in the most need. Leaving the safety of New America on his latest assignment, Noah meets Rachel (Sarah Lind - Fargo) and her son, finding an unexpected connection to the pair that drives him to investigate the New Eden selection process and it's ulterior motives. Embarking on a pursuit of the now rogue Noah is Adam (Hugh Dillon Twin Peaks), a government enforcer out to shut down Noah's growing sense of distrust and rebellion.
