    I've purchasing from your zavvi for 4 years, 2 before when they were Virgin Megastore and: 1. Customer service, promptness of delivery and response to queries 2. Mis-accounted for items prior to delivery (resulting in me being charged weeks before goods are despatched). 3. Showing items as "in stock" on their site when ordered that don't get delivered for weeks. 4. Returns getting "lost" in transit until I proved otherwise. 5. The shoddiness of the packaging resulting in damage in transit. Have all led me to conclude that customers are no longer a priority and I'm closing down my account as soon as I get someone to answer the phone at zavvi (waited, 15, 18 and 27 mins yesterday).

    Shocking customer service, added express delivery onto my order, despite never having even been offered the option at checkout, nearly five quid extra, then not interested when I queried it, so clearly not interested in retaining my future business. Will never use again. Be warned.

    Generally good/very good. Been using zavvi part of Hut Group since 2007/8 and esp since after the old Zavvi went defunct in 2008 approx. Often cheapest around, seen them beat Amazon, Play and HMV many a time for price, their stock levels have improved in the past year, for in stock items, generally same speed as say Amazon / Play from ordering time to delivery time if you say chose super free delivery with Amazon. Only thing is for say steelbooks their packaging is nothing from the norm so I have had damages in the past but returned for refund or replacement. Also experienced a return that never arrived but that Royal Mails fault, not Zavvi, I had proof of shipping so you scan proof and email it and they will then refund or arrange replacement. Overall I would say 8/10.

    Long delivery times, being overcharged by the disapplication of discount codes upon payment (so you only find out you have been overcharged when you get the email invoice), no contact telephone to discuss service issues, poorly trained and incompetent customer service representatives, no concept of customer care, items damaged in transit ... I cannot think of anything positive to say about them

    There had been earlier reservations, but recent performance has been excellent. So far this year eight box sets have been ordered. All were bargains and arrived in perfect condition, delivery prompt (an email alerting me on the one occasion a brief delay was expected). Also greatly improved is the speed with which email queries are answered. I shall continue to order with confidence.
