This is the story of two British born Punjabi boys who visit Punjab for the first time and fall in love. They find it very difficult to win over the girls here because of their typical British attitude. It is very interesting to see how they adopt themselves to Punjabi traditions and win over the hearts of everybody. Their interaction with Punjabi youth is very entertaining as humour comes out of these situations.

It was most frustrating for an honest police officer like Inspector Arjun Singh because he found himself so helpless due to lack of proof... because he could do so little to free our society from corruption terrorism nepotism and the hierarchy of influential people with vested interests who vitiate the whole system for their ruthless self-benefit. One day while investigating a murder case of a constable; his frustration drives him to accidentally kill a young boy called Raju. This has a tremendous repercussions on him and his life. Not only is he black-listed and transferred but his beloved Vidya also leaves him. He is insulted and humiliated everywhere. What's more Raju's elder sister Pooja vows to avenge her brother's death. During this period of depression the Inspector meets Seema who offers him some respite through love and warmth. But evens she turns out to be a call-girl. As the film develops while investigating a case of murder the Inspector is led to whole lot of people in high places involving politicians who are connected with the underworld. Two of them turned out to be Amarnath Kaul (a celebrated criminal lawyer and Vidya'`s husband) and chaman Bagga a murderer who found a link between these big-wings and the underworld. The Inspector forges ahead with his investigation which ultimately brings to light the hidden hands in the organised crime and terrorism gripping the whole city.
