The Trip Steve Coogan has been commissioned by a Sunday newspaper to review half a dozen restaurants in the North of England. When his food-loving American girlfriend backs out, Steve is faced with a week of meals for one. Reluctantly, he calls Rob Brydon, the only person he can think of who will be available. Heading north in a stylish black Range Rover, the pair begin a journey of bickering, jokes and reflection. Across the dinner tables of the North's best restaurants, the neurotic and sardonic Coogan and the genial, eager-to-entertain Brydon spar on anything from Coleridge or career insecurities to which of them does the best Michael Caine impression. Steve Coogan Live: Alan Partridge and Other Less Successful Characters (6 Discs)
Mid Morning Matters offers an excruciatingly awkward window into the world of Alan Partridge, reconfirming why he is considered one of British comedy's iconic characters. This second series sees the master at work as he broadcasts his daily radio show at the fictional North Norfolk Digital to literally hundreds of listeners. Whether reprimanding a celebrity chef for the use of fennel in a recipe, or making history by having a massage live on air, Alan never fails to push the boundaries of broadcasting and, more often than not, good taste.
Judi Dench and Steve Coogan play unlikely friends in PHILOMENA, the moving, funny and at times shocking true story of one woman's search for a lost son.

Stephen portrays events from 2006, thirteen years after Stephen's death on the evening of 22 April 1993 in a racially motivated attack whilst waiting for a bus in Well Hall Road, Eltham. Even though Doreen and Neville Lawrence knew the identity of their son's killers, the original investigation had failed to convict those responsible, and their extraordinary campaign for justice led to a public inquiry that branded Metropolitan Police institutionally racist and brought about sweeping changes in the law and police practices and transformed thinking and understanding of racial inequality in the UK. Yet six years on from the Inquiry no progress had been made into the case. The drama tells the story of the ongoing struggle by Doreen and Neville Lawrence to achieve justice and how a detective, DCI Clive Driscoll working closely with the Lawrences puts together an investigation that finally more than 18 years after his death secures the convictions of two of the gang who committed the murder of Stephen. Starring Steve Coogan. Sharlene Whyte & Hugh Quarshie

He journeys into an unreported Britain inhabited by the very people he had offended to ask whether, in this once united kingdom, a schasm' has formed - a schism or chasm, between the haves and the have-nots (or haven'ts). From supermarket staff to payday lenders, disaffected street gangs to food scavenging freegans', Alan pledges to move among them; to understand them; to see the world through their eyes. And - god willing - along the way become a better citizen, a better man and a better, more sought-after broadcaster.
