She quickly learns that surviving the treacherous waters of teenhood can be more difficult than international espionage.

Hailee Steinfeld stars as a teenage spy in this action comedy. Agent 83 (Steinfeld) has been trained since birth to become a government agent under the watchful eye of Hardman (Samuel L. Jackson) at the Prescott Academy. On a mission to capture wanted arms dealer Victoria Knox (Jessica Alba), Megan takes the opportunity to leave her life of espionage behind by faking her own death to start a new life as a regular 16-year-old. She enrols in a student exchange program, is adopted by the Larson family and embarks upon a normal teenage life as high school student Megan Walsh. But in her pursuit of normality, Megan soon finds out it's not easy being an average high school teenager.
