Comedy about a group of 'Star Wars' fans who attempt to get a print of 'Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace' before it is released in six months' time. Eric (Sam Huntington) attempts to reconnect with his high school friends, Linus (Chris Marquette), Hutch (Dan Fogler), Windows (Jay Baruchel), and Zoe (Kristen Bell) at a Halloween party. Although Eric has moved on from who he was at school, he is still able to relate to his old friends through their mutual love for 'Star Wars' and their eagerness to see the new film. When Eric discovers that Linus only has four months to live, he agrees to go to Skywalker Ranch with his friends and steal a copy of the film. When they are caught, they have to convince George Lucas they are 'fanboys' in order for him to drop the charges. But will Linus live to see the film?
