Sensitive, young divorcee Roslyn Tabor (Monroe) and her friend Isabelle (Thelma Ritter) take up with three cowboy drifters Gay (Gable), Perce (Montgomery Clift) and Guido (Eli Wallach), who are in town for the rodeo.
