Marilyn Monroe and Clark Gable lead the cast in this classic drama directed by John Huston and written by Arthur Miller, Monroe's then husband. Sensitive, young divorcee Roslyn Tabor (Monroe) and her friend Isabelle (Thelma Ritter) take up with three cowboy drifters Gay (Gable), Perce (Montgomery Clift) and Guido (Eli Wallach), who are in town for the rodeo. Roslyn and Gay fall in love but their relationship is compromised when the men reveal their plan to catch mustangs and sell them as dog food.

Please note this is a region 2 DVD and will require a region 2 (Europe) or region Free DVD Player in order to play. Expertly directed by John Huston (The Maltese Falcon) from a screenplay by Pulitzer Prize winner Arthur Miller, The Misfits is a "probing, exciting drama" (Film Daily) of honesty, intensity and sheer poetic brilliance. Divorced and disillusioned Roslyn (Marilyn Monroe) befriends a group of "misfits", including an aging cowboy (Clark Gable), a heartbroken mechanic (Eli Wallach) and a worn-out rodeo rider (Montgomery Clift). Through their live-for-the-moment lifestyle, Roslyn experiences her first taste of freedom, exhilaration and passion. But when her innocent idealism clashes with their hard-edged practicality, Roslyn must risk losing their friendship...and the only true love she's ever known.
