Titles Comprise: 50 First Dates: Henry Roth (Sandler), the local marina veterinarian, only dates tourists because he's afraid of commitment - that is, until he meets Lucy (Barrymore). Unfortunately, Lucy lost her short-term memory months ago in a car accident, and for her, each day is October the 13th. She follows the same routine every day - breakfast at the same restaurant, pineapple-picking with her dad, and eventually bed time, where sleep wipes away her short-term memory. Henry, however, refuses to be forgotten, and as his puppy love matures, he embarks on a quest... to restore her memory, or at least be a part of her everyday routine. But vying for Lucy's attention isn't always easy. Henry explores various approaches before making a video for Lucy to watch every morning, reminding her of who she is and what she's doing...Along Came Polly: After Brooke (Aniston) calls it quits with her boyfriend Gary (Vaughn), neither person is willing to move out of the condo they share. Taking the advice of their respective friends and confidants (and a few total strangers), they both engage in mental warfare designed to force the other person to flee the premises - until they both realise they might be fighting to keep their relationship alive. The Break-Up:Hitch:The Holiday:My Best Friend's Wedding: [show more]

A collection of six romantic comedies. In '50 First Dates' (2004) Drew Barrymore stars as Lucy Whitmore, a beautiful woman suffering from acute short-term memory loss. After a car accident several months before, she has been left with a rare brain condition that causes her memory to be totally erased every night when she goes to sleep. Adam Sandler plays Henry Roth, a vet in the Hawaiian resort where Lucy is living a quiet life with her over-protective father (Blake Clark) and goofy brother (Sean Astin). After meeting Lucy, Henry realises he's found someone special, and resolves to give up his promiscuous, non-commital lifestyle. The only problem is, when he meets her again the next day, she hasn't got a clue who he is. In 'Along Came Polly' (2004) Reuben (Ben Stiller) is a risk assessor for an insurance company, and hates taking risks of any kind. But when his new bride runs off with the diving instructor on their honeymoon, he begins to wonder if his risk assessment is so accurate after all. On his return from his disastrous honeymoon, he runs into the beautiful, free-spirited Polly (Jennifer Aniston), an old acquaintance from junior high, at a party. But is he ready to put his feelings on the line, let himself go and have some fun with her? In 'The Break-up' (2006), when Brooke (Jennifer Aniston) breaks up with her insensitive boyfriend Gary (Vince Vaughn), neither of them is willing to move out of their apartment. As each of them takes advice from their friends, they decide to start using a series of mind games and strategies to try and force the other to leave, but before long they discover that they might just be fighting to keep their relationship alive. In 'Hitch' (2005) Alex 'Hitch' Hitchens (Will Smith) is a legendary - and deliberately anonymous - New York City 'date doctor' who, for a fee, has helped countless men woo the women of their dreams. While coaching Albert (Kevin James), a meek accountant who is smitten with a glamorous celebrity, Allegra Cole (Amber Valletta), Hitch finally meets his match in the person of the gorgeous, whip-smart Sara Melas (Eva Mendes), a gossip columnist who follows Allegra's every move. The ultimate professional bachelor, Hitch suddenly finds himself falling deliriously in love with Sara, a reporter whose biggest scoop could very well be the unmasking of Manhattan's most famous date doctor. In 'The Holiday' (2006) Iris (Kate Winslet) is in love with a man who is about to marry another woman. Across the globe, Amanda (Cameron Diaz) realises the man she lives with has been unfaithful. Two women who have never met and live 6,000 miles apart, find themselves in the exact same place. They meet online at a home exchange website and impulsively switch homes for the holiday. Iris moves into Amanda's L.A. house in sunny California as Amanda arrives in the snow-covered English countryside. Shortly after arriving at their destinations, both women find the last thing either wants or expects: a new romance. Amanda is charmed by Iris's handsome brother, Graham (Jude Law), and Iris, with inspiration provided by legendary screenwriter Arthur (Eri Wallach), mends her heart when she meets film composer Miles (Jack Black). Finally, in 'My Best Friend's Wedding' (1997), Julianne Potter (Julia Roberts) has just realised that she is in love with her best friend, Michael O'Neal (Dermot Mulroney), but there's a problem: Michael has recently announced his upcoming marriage to the hare-brained Kimmy (Cameron Diaz). Enlisting the help of her gay friend, George Downes (Rupert Everett), Julianne resolves to sabotage Michael's big day and win him back for herself. But when Kimmy turns out to be such a kind and likeable person, Julianne wonders if she's doing the right thing after all.
