Little does he know that events he captures will be more terrifying than his worst nightmares. On the last night of their trip they begin to encounter a supernatural phenomena. Lights flash outside their tent and three distinct star like objects loom in the sky. As night falls the family discovers that the myths of alien abductions are very real and events build to a horrifying conclusion in the skies above Brown Mountain. Found-footage sci-fi thriller. The film follows a vacationing family to the area surrounding Brown Mountain in North Carolina where the appearance of strange lights have been reported for hundreds of years. When they arrive near their destination and find a number of abandoned cars by the roadside, the family begin to wonder where all the people might have gone. Leaving their own car to investigate, it isn't long before they become embroiled in an extraterrestrial nightmare...
