Apnapan is the story of nearness and understanding. Anil Mehra in his early thirties accidentally meets Radhika and falls in love. Their relationship turns into a romance leading upto marriage. But before marring Anil confides that he is a divorcee and has a child of a five year old Prakash who is studying in Srinagar. Radhika loves him so much that they go ahead with their marriage.
