The opening scene has you gripped and the tension remains for the rest of the film. Jeff Bridges stars as the paranoid professor whos suspicions prove to be correct. His neighbour, Tim Robins, plays an equally convincing extremist whos plan to plant a bomb and blow up an FBI building comes to fruition with an unexpected twist at the end of the film. Unlike the majority of American movies, this film does not end with everyone living happily ever after. A convincing plot, well acted with plenty of tension.
