Fun-loving sisters Tess and Emily Tyler (Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen) decide it's time for their single dad Max (Tom Amandes) to start dating again. So to help him on his way, the girls place a giant lonely hearts advertisement on a Santa Monica billboard. Pretty soon the offers start flooding in, and after a series of disastrous dates, Max meets Brooke (Jessica Tuck) and falls head over heels in love.
