American football drama directed by Don Medford. After a tour of Vietnam, ex-professional football player, Jim Brandon (Robert Conrad), is left paralysed. Unable to return to the game, he opts to give coaching a shot instead. When he is turned down for a job at a local club, he is left bitter, but after a visit to a youth prison he finds an opportunity by coaching the inmates. In doing so, he wins the hearts and the minds of the club and finds new meaning to his own life.
