Sir David Jason stars in this emotional, contemporary family drama marking his first role since filming the final episodes of ITV1's iconic A Touch of Frost. Sir David plays cockney ex-docker Don, a man whose family means everything to him. Married to Dora, played by acclaimed actress Alison Steadman. Written and developed by award winning writer Jeff Pope, the story focuses on Don's determination to keep his family afloat, emotionally and financially, after they lose virtually everything.

Feature-length ITV drama starring David Jason and Alison Steadman. Retired couple Don (Jason) and Dora (Steadman) have two grown-up children, David (Shaun Evans) and Joanne (Kelly Bright). The children were brought up in a working-class environment shaped by ex-docker Don's strong family values. But David now lives an extravagant lifestyle with his wife Cristina (Anna Wilson-Jones) and their young son. Dora and struggling single mum Joanne harbour their suspicions that David and Cristina may be living beyond their means, but Don refuses to hear a bad word said about his beloved son - until it becomes obvious to everyone that David is heading for financial meltdown.
