Two years after self-styled spiritual ninja Cuckoo went missing in the Himalayas, his young widow Rachel (Esther Smith) found herself falling in love with his handsome long-lost son, Dale (Taylor Lautner). Six months after Dale (Taylor Lautner)'s departure at Christmas, a pregnant Rachel (Esther Smith) is still heartbroken but rekindles her friendship with ex-fiancé Ben (Matt Lacey). Parents Ken (Greg Davies) and Lorna (Helen Baxendale) are relieved at the return of normality to the Thompson house while they await the arrival of their unplanned baby.
