Sci-fi thriller following the fate of a fearsome one-eyed monster captured in Ancient Rome. For all the bloodthirstiness of Rome as a city and as an empire, its inhabitants are scared to venture outside its walls for fear of the Cyclops, a one-eyed monster that haunts the countryside and massacres those it comes across. Merciless Emperor Tiberius (Eric Roberts) sends out-of-favour general Marcus (Kevin Stapleton) to capture the beast. Marcus's reward for his success is a spell in the gladiatorial arena - the same fate as that suffered by the defeated Cyclops.
