Everardo Valerio Gout directs this multi-narrative Mexican thriller. The film follows three interweaving storylines involving crimes and kidnappings that take place in Mexico City during the course of three separate football World Cup tournaments in 2002, 2006 and 2010. Lupe (Tenoch Huerta) is the policeman caught in the middle of this tough city where various drug cartels and criminal syndicates fight for power on a daily basis, and thanks to gross negligence and corruption running throughout the city's police force it seems he's the only man willing to take on the job.
